Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This policy sets out the general terms relating to project confirmation, commencement, cancellation, rescheduling and completion for services provided by FB DIGITAL MEDIA.
FB DIGITAL MEDIA provides services exclusively to business clients and operates on a B2B basis.
Services cannot be ordered or paid for directly through this website. Prices, starting prices and price ranges shown on the website are indicative and intended for business project planning. The final project scope, price, deadlines, deliverables and other terms are defined in an individual quotation, contract or other written agreement.
FB DIGITAL MEDIA does not accept orders from natural persons acting as consumers for private or personal purposes.
Deposit and Project Commencement
A deposit of 50% of the agreed project price is generally required before work begins.
A project is considered confirmed and formally commenced once the agreed deposit has been received, unless otherwise stated in the individual quotation or another written agreement.
Different payment or project-start terms may be agreed for a specific project.
Cancellation Before Work Begins
If the client cancels the project after paying a deposit but before work has begun, any refund will be determined based on the circumstances of the specific project.
The deposit may be reduced by reasonable costs already incurred, project preparation already completed and compensation for reserved production capacity where such an obligation was agreed or forms part of the accepted quotation.
Any remaining amount, if applicable, will be refunded to the client.
Cancellation After Work Has Begun
If the client cancels the project after work has started, the following may be charged:
work completed up to the date of cancellation
completed or approved project stages
previously approved and non-refundable third-party costs
other obligations defined in the individual quotation or contract.
These amounts will be offset against the deposit already paid.
If a balance remains from the deposit after the calculation, it will be refunded to the client. If the value of completed work and incurred costs exceeds the amount of the deposit, the client shall pay the difference.
Reserved Dates and Rescheduling
A filming or production date is considered reserved once the agreed deposit has been received, unless otherwise stated in the quotation.
One rescheduling request may be accepted without an additional FB DIGITAL MEDIA fee if:
the client requests the change at least seven calendar days in advance
a suitable alternative date is available.
The replacement date will be scheduled according to the next suitable availability in the FB DIGITAL MEDIA production calendar.
Rescheduling may affect the originally agreed completion date.
If the production involves a studio, equipment rental, collaborators, travel or other third-party suppliers, rescheduling is also subject to their respective availability, cancellation and change policies.
Any additional rescheduling request may incur a new reservation fee or may be treated as a project cancellation in accordance with the terms of the individual quotation.
Third-Party and Non-Refundable Costs
The client is responsible for previously approved, already incurred or non-refundable third-party costs related to the project.
These may include:
travel and accommodation
studio and equipment hire
collaborators and subcontractors
stock photography and video
music, fonts and voice-over
licences
production materials
other previously approved third-party costs.
Costs that have not been incurred will not be charged.
This applies to both cancellations and rescheduling.
Approved Project Stages
A project stage is considered approved when the client confirms it by email or through another agreed written communication channel.
Returning to an already approved stage, changing the creative direction or reopening a previously confirmed solution is considered additional work and may affect the project price and schedule.
Technical errors caused by FB DIGITAL MEDIA will be corrected without additional charge.
Revisions and Scope Changes
The number of included revision rounds is defined in the individual quotation.
Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, two rounds of consolidated revisions are included. The client should provide consolidated feedback for each revision round.
Additional revision rounds, new requests, changes in concept, expansion of project scope or returning to an already approved stage are considered additional work and may be charged based on time spent or under a separate quotation.
Completed and Delivered Work
Once the final version has been approved in writing and properly delivered, refunds are not available for correctly performed services unless otherwise agreed in an individual contract or required by mandatory law.
Technical errors caused by FB DIGITAL MEDIA will be corrected without additional charge.
Subsequent changes, new requests or modifications to previously approved content are considered additional work.
Open project files, working files and raw production materials are not included in the standard delivery unless expressly stated in the individual quotation.
Final files and agreed usage rights are provided once all due payments have been settled, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Business Clients
This policy applies to projects agreed with business clients, including legal entities and natural persons acting within their trade, business, craft, professional or other commercial activity.
An enquiry from a natural person for private or personal purposes does not constitute acceptance of an order or formation of a contract.
If mandatory legal provisions nevertheless apply to a particular business relationship and cannot validly be excluded or limited by agreement, those provisions shall take precedence over this policy.
Individual Quotations and Contracts
The terms set out in an individual quotation, contract or other written project confirmation shall take precedence over this general policy where they contain different terms for a specific project.
This policy applies to clients in Croatia and internationally to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Contact and Cancellation Requests
Requests to cancel a project, reschedule a production date or raise questions regarding refunds must be submitted in writing by email or through the contact details provided on this website.
A cancellation or change request is considered received when FB DIGITAL MEDIA receives the written notice.
